A contemporary garden designed for a youthful retired couple wanting a clean-lined space to perfectly complement their brand-new home. The design creates a seamless indoor-outdoor living area to enjoy with family and friends.

To add visual interest and overcome the gently sloping site, the garden is terraced to form a generous seating area running directly out from the house. Easy stone steps lead up to the lawn, summerhouse, and deep borders. Retaining walls double as raised planters, while continuous brickwork wraps through the space to edge both paving and lawn, visually connecting all areas.

The centrepiece is a safe, family-friendly water feature utilizing a granite sphere over a pebble-covered grate. Positioned perfectly for visual impact from the sitting room, this sculptural feature is beautifully framed by a specimen olive tree.
