Terraced Garden, Tiverton

After investing in a brand-new property, a couple new to the area wanted to transform a steep, slightly awkward plot into an interesting and highly usable garden.

To tackle the sharp incline and break up the long, thin layout, the space was terraced into distinct levels. This clever zoning vastly improves navigation through the site while creating multiple flat vantage points to sit and admire the far-reaching Devon countryside. Wide, accessible steps and clear pathways connect each distinct area, drawing you effortlessly up to a spectacular top viewing terrace.
