Country Garden, Crediton

A complete sun terrace and garden redesign for a substantial country property in rural Mid Devon. The project included a transformed terrace, surrounding planting, paths, a new kitchen garden, and an elegant set of steps leading up to the main lawn.

Designing exceptionally wide stone steps with deep treads and shallow risers provided the generous scale needed to sit comfortably within the expansive landscape. This creates an inviting, effortless transition from the terrace to the wider grounds, leading directly to a new firepit zone featuring bespoke, ground-fixed circular wooden benches.

The brief also required a redesign of the front garden, driveway, and turning circle. Here, a clean, symmetrical geometric design was implemented, balancing daily practical use with a striking visual impact upon arrival.
